It was our 19th wedding anniversary, I didn't want jewelry or roses. I'm a farm girl, I wanted chickens! So that weekend, my husband, Bob, & I headed to our local feed store to pick up a half dozen chicks.

 

Let me just say, day old chick are cheap (pun intended) compared to all the paraphernalia that is required to raise them to adult chickens.

Bob quipped, as we loaded up the our truck with enough stuff to build a small fortress. So that's how this crazy egg business began.
